Shannon has been teaching Pilates in the Bay Area since April 2000 when she received her teaching certification through STOTT Pilates.  Shannon was first introduced to Pilates as a Dance Major at Ohio State University where it is used to help dancers prevent injury and improve body conditioning.  Shannon graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance in 1998.

Shannon specializes in Pre-and Post-natal strengthening, Breast Cancer Rehab, Conditioning for Golf and other racquet sports, injury prevention and recovery (most notably, but not limited to; shoulder, hip, and knee surgery), as well as overall body conditioning. 

Shannon enjoys working with all levels of fitness from top athletes to people who have never exercised at all. Shannon combines 20 years of experience in Ballet and Modern Dance along with her 12+ years of teaching fitness to provide challenging and motivating Pilates programs uniquely tailored to each individual. Shannon lives in Portero Hill in San Francisco.
